✣ Okay, I was going to do a generic update on my life post but then I got a phone call for an interview for an AMAZING job so my day has been a little ajksndkjsagb rather than the orderly GET STUFF DONE-a-thon that I had planned. Next Wednesday! Cross your fingers for me, everyone!

✣ So basically, my life has narrowed down to school, school, school, work, volunteering, job applications, and spamming anyone who stands near me for too long with pictures of Tom Hardy. I have a thing. And also no regrets.

✣ Oh! Actual thing for... anyone... who uses my icons, I guess? I'm going to be cancelling my webspace in the foreseeable future because I don't really use it much. I'll be saving icons back to, oh, my Avatar the Last Airbender stuff, probably, and re-uploading somewhere else. But anything else you want (why??), save now.

✣ Dinner tonight: Rice, cucumber sambal, and salmon in tamarind sauce. YUM (hopefully).

✣ Also tonight: The Good Wife, aka. the show of my heart. I intend to do a picspam or something of this show to express my flail properly, but I have the sneaking suspicion that it will turn into a mess of my joy over what this season is doing with Cary if I'm not careful.

And that's it for now! I swear there was more to be said (book reviews? stuff about mass effect? music? who knows!), but I suppose this is why I ought to post more often regardless how short and stupid because otherwise I forget all about the things I actually want to say. /MAKES RESOLUTION.

OH HEY. Guess what we are talking about again today.

EDIT: I seriously have to wonder if this prof has been sued for defamation or something over stuff he's said during class before. Because he seems to bring it up every class. He'll start in on an anecdote and then eventually trails off without ever finishing it or interrupts himself, noting "But I won't say that because that's probably defamatory." It's very strange.

Well, I, and everyone else in my class, just got completely bitch-slapped around for two hours by the Constitutional Law 1 exam. I will now spend the next two months praying that the bell curve gods are kind to me. At least I completed all the questions, which apparently was a rarity, so that's a good sign? Man.

I am very ready for exams to be over! I have one more! The most terrifying one, in fact. It is criminal law, and our professor has told us explicitly to write it while picturing him standing over our shoulder shouting WHY in our ears repeatedly. This tells you something about my professor, I think. It does not tell you that criminal law also makes no frigging sense at all.

But. Once that's all done, I get to escape! In exactly five days, I am blowing into Jersey and crashing with tussah and getting to do fantastic things like meet rabidfangirlism. Forecasts are for AWESOME with a chance of FUCK YES (and also rain but whatever).

T is gonna show me around New York City on what has been explicitly declared a "research tour" to help me in future endeavours at writing dumb boys frolicking around that city. Which given that the Kaplans have lived in three different houses by all appearances, only one of which could realistically be on the Upper West Side, this would put me well ahead of everyone employed by Marvel ever. So even if I fail Con Law, I guess I have that going for me?

1) Finally finished my last paper of the year! Phew.

(will not talk about gnawing anxiety that said paper does not in fact answer essay question; will not)

2) I also got my Remix in on time, despite the 24-hours or so when I wondered if I was going to be able to finish it at all. These are things I don't talk about until after the fact so as to avoid getting glared at by musesfool! Hurray!

It is pretty much the most me story to ever exist but whatever! It's an unpopular pairing in a dumb fandom so no one is going to read it anyway. It has a (not-)sex scene, which I probably didn't have to write as it could be replaced by the words "FADE TO BLACK" and be just as descriptive.

But I still like it! I think it's my most Remixy-remix in that I found the perfect story to remix -- a story that I would totally have written but which was written in a completely opposite way from how I would have done it. This is an improvement over Firewhiskey (a story whose original I would never have written) and Dancing Shoes (a story whose original I would have written exactly as is). Story selection matters, guys!

More thoughts to come with story when I can actually reveal plot details, etc.

3) I have pictures of my J-prom dress but...not with me. I'll post 'em when I get my hands on my sister's memory card.

4) I've just finished writing my essay, so I feel like I am writing really convoluted sentences here. Sorry!

5) I'M PLAYING WORLD OF WARCRAFT NOW! HELP! And by help I mean: if you see a Gnomish warrior named Angrboda wandering around the Onyxia server, don't be afraid to say "hi!"

Alternately, if you're already playing on another server, I am not opposed to starting a second character. :D (I kinda want a Horde character anyway, so that I can run around their territory in a way that isn't like "Oh, cool buildings you have there. THEY WOULD LOOK NICER IF YOU STOPPED SHOOTING AT MEEEEEE.")

6) On Wednesday, I start looking for a new job! This will be freaky as I have never really had to job-hunt before. I'm more of a "trip and accidentally fall on a job" sort of person. Also, I might be really qualified for secretarial positions, but I basically have no qualifications for things like waitressing or retail, so I expect to be turned down a lot! OH WELL GOODBYE EGO WE NEVER GOT ALONG ANYWAY.

I- it's okay to apply for a whole lot of jobs at once, right? What if you get an offer, but you want to see if one of others is going to offer too? How do you say no without saying no? Oh, man. I like how school ends, and I immediately have a whole new set of things to stress about.
