Thank you everyone for your thoughts last night! I did eventually find a PB, after a few hours of trawling about PB_updates yesterday as Noodles suggested. Beck's suggestion of Pete Doherty was actually not too far off in many ways, but I needed someone who embodied IF YOU RUIN MY VERY CAREFULLY ARRANGED HAIRSTYLE I WILL SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE NOW HOW 'BOUT WE SIT DOWN FOR SOME FOIE GRAS AND A NICE GLASS OF MELBAC.

So in the end, I compromised my principles a little and ended up with a fairly pretty PB but using only profile shots of him from one side of his face >.>. He's supposed to be fairly good looking anyway, just with this one little unexpected facial characteristic, and I think Maddie had a good point about needing to have the feel of the character above all.

AND THEN I UNEXPECTEDLY TRIPPED AND SUBMITTED AN APP FOR HIM AT C&C. IDEK. I'm on spring break (in the middle of winter MY SCHOOL IS WEIRD). Crazy things happen.

Two posts in one day! What is this nonsense?

I need RP PB advice, people! Anyone ever have to PB someone with a not-perfect-model face? And I don't just mean plain-looking. The character I want to find a PB for is supposed to have extremely crooked teeth on one side and sort of a squished, twisted jaw/mouth on that same side. Any ideas?

Alternative seems to be to explain that he is not as completely pretty as he appears in his icon in every first tag. I'm kind of at a loss! /ponders this

Stuff I am doing:
✤ Studying trademark law. Goddamn you, trademark law. Seriously, guys. If you ever find yourself at gunpoint and told to choose to study two kinds of intellectual property law if you want to live, choose copyright and patent. DO NOT CHOOSE TRADEMARK.
✤ Attempting to upload the lousy first copy of the first vid I have ever tried to make. It has huge, glaring issues everywhere, but I am still stupidly proud of it. May share some time in the future. Possibly after I edit it for a million more hours.
✤ Preparing to submit an application tomorrow for my DREAM JOB. It would only last a year and not start until 2011 and I probably won't get it anyway. But it would still be my DREAM JOB, so this is kind of terrifying.

Stuff I need to do:
✤ Make a final decision on who I am dropping at C&C sajnkafer sob. There is no way this won't break my heart no matter what I do. BIG SIGH.
✤ Pay my phone bill
✤ Figure out a Christmas present for the remaining people on my list
✤ Kick the ass of three exams and one paper

Stuff I want to do before the end of year/some point early in the next year:
✤ Finish one of my Young Avengers WiPs which are lying around (or maybe more than one?)
✤ Write something for the February issue of

bb_shousetsu. Because the theme is food. And I am probably brave enough to write an actual sex scene (m-maybe?). And thanks to

tussah, I already have a plot too. Regardless: /files under terrifying.

Signs that my urge to RP somewhere again is getting kind of idiotic: I am having this sudden, nearly uncontrollable desire to play this kid somewhere.

And yes by this kid, I mean a very minor character who appeared on one episode of the Mentalist. I don't even really know his name. It might be Brad?

I don't know. I don't know. I think one of the twelve million (okay, two) games I've applied to should just accept me now before I start embarrassing myself. MORE THAN I ALREADY DO.
