friday wrap-up
Feb. 10th, 2006 03:48 pmIn handy list format because my brain has powered down for the day and transitions are a little beyond me.
1) Wow, was that a really, really long week for anyone else? Of course, next week will be worse. And the week after that, despite being reading week, will also be hell.
Will I pass my mid-terms? Who knows! Will I manage to finish my law and human rights essays despite the fact that they are humongous, stupid, and due on the same day? Hopefully! Will I have time to actually start my remix? Uh...I better.
2) In other school news, I wanted to mention that I'm doing a presentation on antidepressant use, and if anyone out there has/is and/or knows someone who has/is taking antidepressant and would feel comfortable sharing (by email, instant messanger, telephone, or in person -- I would be thrilled to pretend to do schoolwork and actually hang out instead), I'd be interested in talking. My email is morgue.r@gmail.com. Drop me a line and I can give you more details. :) I mention it just on the off-chance that it sounds like something any of you/anyone you know might want to do.
3) Having now caught up on all but the very latest episode of Veronica Mars, I would just like to say (because I am that predictable): Weevil. Logan. Van. Cross-country roadtrip. Solving mysteries. And really sucking at it. Please and thank you.
4) Insta-rec! I don't care if you have never read a page of Hikaru no Go. It doesn't matter.
rageprufrock's Inertia is heart-breaking and unbelievably good. Read it and then remember to tell her how fabulous she is.
5) pandora.com: possibly the coolest thing to come out of the internet ever. It's a radio station that will only play music you like! And it's free!
6) Now I will return to refreshing Naruto Will until Bleach 214 is scanslated as I need my weekly fix of Matsumoto's rack. (Note: It is my fondest ambition these days to basically grow up to be her. And, actually, this is not as entirely impossible as you might think.)
