Jan. 9th, 2005 02:28 pmSo, I've been sitting here, ignoring my film studies essay, and trying to decide whether to post A) about how the response to the tsunami in east Asia is both heartwarming and scary
(because, honestly? the last time something like this happened 75% of a year's worth of aid went to Afghanistan to the detriment of other countries who also might have found use for a more equal share, and has anyone else noticed how Darfur is, apparently, not a problem anymore?)
or B) about how I actually enjoyed the recent movie version of King Arthur
(because you really just have to sit down to watch it while remembering that it's just like an AU fanfic, and even Keira Knightley couldn't ruin it, and also? Ioan Gruffud has absolutely no respect for the intactness and not-combusting-ness of my panties)
and so I decided to do both. Which I suppose by this point is really pretty self-evident.
